Description
A reflection/backscattering probe with a built-in reference leg is a convenient solution for long-term measurements and experiments in which variation or instability in the spectral output of the light source is expected to affect the reflection spectrum.
Available in both premium- and lab-grade, these probes include a reference leg that splits off from the light source connector for monitoring your illumination (or reference) source via a second spectrometer.
Probe design — 6-around-1 fiber bundle design at probe end for sample measurements
Setup — 7-fiber leg connects to light source, single-fiber leg connects to spectrometer for best performance
Reference leg — one optical fiber splits off from the light source connector for reference monitoring (6-around-1 design)
Probe type — probe comprises Visible-NIR (400-2100 nm) fibers
