Thermo Nicolet 8700 FTIR with MCT detector

Thermo Nicolet 8700 FTIR with TECTGS and MCT detector.  Complete system with PC and software and transmission accessory.  The Thermo Scientific Nicolet 8700 FTIR spectrometer offers research-quality capabilities, including advance scanning capabilities and to collect spectra over a wide spectral range.  It incorporates the Vectra-Piezo interferometer, which is optimized for step-scan applications, allowing for precise control and high signal-to-noise ratios in time-resolved and phase modulation experiments.  This capability allows capturing the details of ultra-fast chemical and biochemical reactions.

System has been rebuilt with a new:   HeNe laser, IR source, KBR port windows and KBR beam splitter  The system has been fully tested and meets the original factory specs as shown on the data sheet.
