The SurveyIR™ is a new FT-IR Microspectroscopy accessory designed to deliver the ultimate user experience for a broad range of microanalysis techniques. The unique ergonomic design allows seamless interaction between operator and instrument. SurveyIR’s compact configuration and alignment free optical design facilitates simple mounting in the FT-IR spectrometer sample compartment.
While the picture is shown with a Thermo Nicolet IS5 FTIR, it can be pre-configured for all Thermo Nicolet FTIR models. Minimum requirement is a standard FTIR configuration with a room temperature DTGS detector.
The typical range (for most FTIR models) is 6000-400 cm-1. However for research grade FTIRs such as the Nicolet 6700 or IS50 the Reflection and Transmission applications can range from 12,000-100 cm-1, depending on the source, beam splitter, and detector type(s) used.
