Thermo Nicolet FTIRs have been user serviceable for over 30 years. With a modular design, and software diagnostics, it allows the end user to perform maintenance and repairs on the FTIR. Most common are changing the desiccant, the IR source and the laser. However we have found nearly all other repairs can be done remotely with over the phone assistance.
