Pike Technologies Miracle Diamond ATR accessory.  Fits in all Thermo Nicolet FTIRs except the IS5 and Summit models.  Diamond ATRs are often preferred for most ATR applications due to their durability (compared with ZnSe).  ATR (Attenuated Total Reflection) is often used when polymer identification is needed with minimal sample prep.  An ATR accessory combined with a library allows rapid identification for most polymers and many organic substances.
