BPS101 Tungsten Halogen Light Source The BPS101 is a compact, high-performance constant current light source optimized for spectroscopy applications in the 350 nm to >2600 nm range. Utilizing a replaceable tungsten halogen lamp rated for 10,000 hours and delivering a stable 2800 K color temperature, the BPS101 ensures reliable, continuous illumination for transmission, absorption, and reflectance experiments.

Equipped with a constant current drive and slow ramp start, the BPS101 maximizes lamp stability and lifetime. Remote functionality is enabled via a rear control port allowing versatile on/off modulation, current monitoring, and external control (analog and TTL digital input). The SMA905 fiber connector provides hassle-free coupling with no need for alignment, making it ideal for both visible and near-IR spectroscopy.
