Description
Thermo Scientific™ NanoDrop™ 1000 Spectrophotometer stand alone unit (with out computer), includes power supply and USB cable. System has been refurbished fully tested for wavelength accuracy, lamp intensity, and repeatability. This system was recently calibrated with the CF-1 calibration fluid to meet the original factory absorbance specifications. The NanoDrop 1000 allows for the analysis of sample sizes as small as 0.5ul. Typical applications are for both quantification and purity analysis of purified RNA and DNA samples. This system has the avantage of being UV-VIS spectrophotometer that provide a full spectral analysis of the sample (not discrete wavelengths). The detector is a CCD spectrometer with no moving parts that provides high reliablity for wavelength accuracy and stability.
