- Don't directly handle the lamp envelope, oils from hands will degrade the performance of the lamp.
- Alcohol can be used to remove fingerprints from the envelope if needed. Allow lamp to fully dry before powering up.
- Allow lamp to warm-up for at least 30 minutes. This allows the lamp intensity to stabilize for accurate measurements.
