(UPDRIFT) Thermo Smart NIR UpDrift for Near Infrared Diffuse Reflectance

The Thermo Smart NIR UpDrift sampling accessory is designed to measure diffuse reflectance of powder like materials in the Near InfraRed (NIR) region.  The background is taken with a diffuse reflectance puck (as shown).  An FTIR configured with a Tungsten light source, CaF2 beam splitter and InGaAs detector is often used with this accessory.  This accessory works with all Thermo Nicolet FTIRs except the IS5 and Summit models.
