Thermo Nicolet 6700 FTIR - MIR Research Grade - Dual Detector

This research grade mid-IR configuration of the Thermo Nicolet 6700 FTIR allows for high performance measurements and routine analysis sensitivity.

This configuration features a dual detector setup for MCT detector.  The MCT detector provides 10X more sensitivity than a standard room temperature DTGS detector.   This enhanced sensitivity is used for more demanding applications such as emissions from external plasmas, IR fluorescence, long path length gas cells (e.g., 10m Nicolet gas cell) etc.  System is configured and includes both a room temperature DTGS and a MCT detector.  Switching between the two detectors is easily done in the software which controls a motorized detector mirror.

Comes complete with transmission accessory, Laptop, software, and polystyrene standard.  Unit has been fully tested and meets the original factory specifications (see photo).
