iS50 Raman Accessory

Expand the capabilities of your Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ iS50 FTIR Spectrometer with integrated FT-Raman analysis. The iS50 Raman Accessory uses 1064 nm near-infrared excitation, helping reduce fluorescence from challenging samples while providing complementary molecular and structural information to FTIR.

Designed for simple, flexible operation, the module connects directly to the iS50 and automatically configures the instrument through Touch Point operation. Its motorized stage supports single-point analysis, multipoint collection, mapping, and automated high-throughput workflows. A built-in camera allows users to view the sample, select the measurement location, and retain a visual record of where each spectrum was collected.

The integrated ATR module transforms the Thermo Scientific™ Nicolet™ iS50 FTIR Spectrometer into a convenient, all-in-one materials analysis workstation. Its durable diamond crystal supports rapid measurement of solids, powders, pastes, gels, and liquids with little or no sample preparation. The built-in design adds no instrument footprint and leaves the main sample compartment available for other sampling accessories.

With the press of the dedicated Touch Point button, users can access the ATR workflow without manually changing system components. The integrated pressure tower promotes consistent sample-to-crystal contact, while the dedicated detector and wide spectral-range design support high-quality measurements from the mid-infrared into the far-infrared.
